Got up eaarly to catch the Oz bus and said our goodbyes to Sylvia and Lindsay.

On our way to Noosa we crossed the NSW/Queenstown state line. The bus stopped so we could take some pictures of the scenery.

Eventually we came to Lamington National Park where there is a natural arch with a swimming hole......

........and a waterfall.

We then came to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast has tons of sandy white beaches and high rise development. When we planned our trip, we thought Surfers Paradise was going to be a dinky little town, after seeing how big it is, we would of liked to stay a few days but couldn't because of other plans in the next few days.

Our next stop was Brisbane, we wern't going to stay here either, but to our surprise, Colette and Chris got on the bus! We arrived in Noosa for the evening and stayed at the Halse Lodge - nice place! We took a walk down to the beach to check it out. I did some experimental photography with the digital camera. There was a lot of moonlight and it was catching on the waves, so I left the shutter open for a few seconds and hand-held the camera. Not great, but kinda cool.
