Well,
we made it to LA and are waiting for the plane to Auckland,
NZ and I realize I haven't signed up for the mileage plan! The plane
starts loading in 15 mins, so I make a few 1-800 calls and find
out I can fill out an application on the plane and then claim the
miles. The miles plan is through the United Airlines and the terminal
is the furthest away, so I just bolt and tell Sid to wait for me.
I ran, more than I've ran in a while! I made it back just as it
was our turn to board, I'm sweating profusely! The trip to Auckland(12
hrs.) was uneventful, movies were lame so we tried to sleep as much
as we could.
