5 Random Middle Earth Info's:

Mithril
Mithril was a metal, found only in Khazad-dûm. Mithril was loved by the Dwarves above all things, and was also treasured greatly by the Elves, the Dúnedain, and Sauron. Mithril could be beaten and polished without being weakened, and it was both light and hard. Its silver color did not tarnish.
It is also called silver-steel, Moria-silver, and true silver.

Elendil
Elendil was a Dúnadan of Númenor, first King of Arnor and Gondor (3320-3441). Elendil was one of the Faithful, and, as the son of the last Lord of Andúnië, the noblest of his kind to survive the fall of Númenor. With his sons Isildur and Anárion, Elendil escaped to Middle-earth with nine ships, the palantíri, and a seed of the White Tree. In Middle-earth he established the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor, ruling over the former directly as High King and committing the governing of the latter to his sons. Elendil was one of the leaders of the Last Alliance which overthrew Sauron, and with Gil-galad its greatest warrior. He was slain, along with Gil-galad, by Sauron on the slopes of Orodruin, but they in turn overthrew their enemy.
Elendil's sword was the famous Narsil.
Elendil was also known as Elendil the Tall.

Eru
Eru was God, more or less. Eru is that power superior to the Valar and for whom they labored in the creation of the world. He created the peoples of Middle-earth, and His was the overall plan for the world. It is not clear which races acknowledged or worshiped Him; He was associated most defintely with Elves and Men.
Eru was also called the One.

Ents
Sometime in the First Age the Ents came in contact with the Eldar, who taught them Quenya and Sindarin. Later in the First Age the male and female Ents became estranged; the Entwives crossed Anduin and tended their favorite plants-small trees, grasses, fruit trees, flowers, and vegetables-in what was later called the Brown Lands, while the male Ents tended their larger trees in the forest that stretched from the Old Forest to Fangorn, and was called the Great Wood. The Entwives were greatly honored by Men, to whom they taught the skills of agriculture, but sometime before the end of the Second Age their gardens were destroyed and they vanished.

Frodo Baggins
Frodo Baggins was a Hobbit of the Shire, Ring-bearer, Elf-friend, and hero. He was the only son of Drogo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck. In 2980, on the death of his parents, he was adopted by his cousin Bilbo, and went to live with him in Bag End. In 3001, when Bilbo left the Shire, Frodo inherited all his goods, including Bag End and the One Ring.
In 3018, on Gandalf's advice, Frodo, under the name of Mr. Underhill, went to Rivendell to escape the Nazgûl. Along the way, he met Aragorn and was nearly slain by the Lord of the Nazgûl. In Rivendell, he volunteered to undertake the Quest of Mount Doom. After great adventures and heroic deeds with the Fellowship of the Ring, Frodo reached the Sammath Naur, but at the last moment claimed the Ring for himself However, Gollum bit off Frodo's ring-finger and then fell into the Sammath Naur, thus fulfilling the Quest.
